They learn that the resort was built on the site of a town that mysteriously vanished decades ago, leaving only a few survivors. The locals believe that the land is cursed, haunted by the spirits of those who perished. As the girl digs deeper, she realizes that these spirits may not be as dormant as people think. Desperate to escape the resort’s grasp, she and her friend must find a way to break the cycle of terror before they, too, become part of the dark history that surrounds the place.
