In the 1950s, Hellboy and a rookie agent from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense are dispatched to the Appalachian mountains to investigate unusual occurrences. Upon their arrival, they discover a remote community that seems frozen in time, untouched by the outside world. However, the peace of this place is deceptive. The community is under the control of witches who hold sway over the people through dark magic and fear.
